Terms of Service

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to misuse it. In particular, you agree not to:

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, our systems, or any account that is not yours;
• interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the site or its infrastructure;
• scrape, harvest, or collect data from the site except as expressly permitted;
• upload or transmit malicious code, or use the site to send unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; or
• use the site to violate any applicable law or the rights of others.

The site and its contents — including text, graphics, logos, the PuffLabs name and brand, and the underlying software — are owned by PuffLabs or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the site for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the site without our prior written permission. Ownership of work product delivered under a separate services agreement is governed by that agreement, not these Terms.

Experts who work with PuffLabs do so as independent contractors, not as employees, partners, agents, or joint venturers of PuffLabs. Nothing on this site or in these Terms creates an employment relationship. Engagements with experts are governed by the separate contractor agreement and any applicable statement of work, which control in the event of any conflict with these Terms. Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes and any obligations arising from their status, except where the contractor agreement or applicable law provides otherwise.

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information on it is accurate, complete, or current. Any services we provide under a separate agreement are governed by the warranties (if any) set out in that agreement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PuffLabs and its founders, personnel, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the site, are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
